We closely monitor and keep up-to-date on cutting-edge manufacturing methods used to produce quality quartz and porcelain. And we stay current on the latest fabrication innovations. We’re continuously asking questions and learning about our industry.
We take seriously the fact that the materials we sell are centerpieces of design in the homes and businesses where they are installed. This means that quality is paramount. So we do our homework and don’t jump at every new thing without research. We won’t source a new stone to display in our showrooms unless we are confident it meets our quality standards.
For example, when porcelain was initially becoming more popular in the United States for kitchens, bathrooms and surrounds, Boston Granite Exchange was resistant to include porcelain in our inventory. Available porcelains were prone to chip easily and did not meet the quality standards that we expect to associate our brand and reputation with. We continued to do our homework and research over several years before we selected Laminam porcelain to offer in our showrooms because it proved to be a superior porcelain product, meeting our standards for quality and durability and guaranteed by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.
We have applied this kind of research and due diligence to other stones, like quartz, to ensure that we only carry the very best.
