Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a 16-gauge and 18-gauge stainless steel sink?
A 16-gauge stainless steel sink is made from a thicker stainless steel than an 18-gauge stainless steel sink.
What is better for a kitchen - a 16-gauge or an 18-gauge stainless steel sink?

Both are generally well-suited for a residential kitchen.

How do you care for a stainless steel sink?

Care and maintenance of a stainless steel sink is easy which is one of the reasons stainless steel sinks are so popular in homes and for commercial use. Use a mild dish soap or cleaners with a non-abrasive sponge. Do not use steel wool or a wire brush. Baking soda with water as a paste is a popular and effective cleanser. Clean with the grain as opposed to cleaning in a circular motion.

How can you evaluate the quality of a stainless steel sink?

Not all stainless steel sinks are made of the same quality stainless steel.  Our sinks are produced from premium T304 commercial grade stainless steel, allowing it to resist corrosion, oxidation and rust at a much higher level than sinks made from lesser grade stainless steel.

What are other benefits of the our sinks?

In addition to the quality of the stainless steel used, our sinks are designed with the bottom of each sink having a sound deadening pad and also coated with a thermal spray in order to maximize the sink’s ability to cushion sound and retain heat.
