As natural stone importers and distributors, we deliver value by offering a wide variety of quality stones including natural stone, porcelain and quartz so a homeowner can select a material to meet their style and budget.

For a quarter-century we have been delivering value to our fabricators by building long-term partnerships, where together we do what it takes to best serve their customers. Relationships and superior customer service define who we are and how we conduct ourselves on a daily basis. It is what distinguishes Boston Granite Exchange from others.

Our History

2024 marks our 25^th anniversary. Boston Granite Exchange was founded in a garage in 1999 by two general contractors who identified a shift in kitchen countertops. Since that time, Boston Granite Exchange has grown to be one of the largest importers of natural stone slabs in New England. Travel to quarries across the globe including Italy, Brazil and India fueled our passion for the beauty of natural stone, and today our inventory represents stones from all over the world including the United States and Canada. Throughout the years, we have established strong relationships with select suppliers offering the highest quality natural stone, quartz and porcelain. Our business was founded on relationships and remains built on relationships to this day. We’re proud to have reached this noteworthy milestone, but we know we didn’t get here alone. We are grateful to the fabricators, kitchen and bath dealers, designers, architects and homeowners who rely on us. We’re appreciative of your continuing support.

Our Team & Our Showrooms

As distributors, we are passionate about stone, particularly natural stone. That passion is truly palpable with the arrival of a new natural stone design or the return of one of our long-term favorite stones such as a unique granite or marble slab. We have multiple natural stone, porcelain and quartz showrooms in New England with our headquarters in Haverhill, MA. BGE is run by the joint leadership of Bill Thomas, General Manager, John Byrne, Vice President of Sales, and Terri Feeney, Accounting Manager.

Each of our showrooms is designed to help consumers Explore and select a stone that will be a source of joy and pride for many years to come. We invest in state-of-the-art lighting and designed our showrooms so all stone slabs are in full view. Each stone’s natural beauty can be appreciated.
